CONCHtribution 2011: Donate Once and Give Back Twice
The theme for this year’s CONCHtribution campaign is “Donate Once and Give Back Twice”. We encourage alumni to participate by first making a donation to The Island School and then take their action of giving back one step further by making a difference in the greater community. This second action can range from organizing a community service project, distributing an Island School application to someone they believe to be a good candidate, making a presentation about renewable energy, or simply getting together with other alumni to talk about The Island School and its teachings. The hope is for alumni to make an impact in their communities in a way other than giving money.
The CONCHtribution campaign is the annual alumni giving campaign, which runs from November 1st-December 31st each year and raises money for the Cape Eleuthera Foundation’s Annual Fund*. Semester classes compete for the highest participation rate; the winning semester will be inscribed on the Golden Conch, which hangs prominently in the dining hall on our Cape Eleuthera campus. Any semester that has 75% or more wins a t-shirt with the alumni logo on it. Each year, there is a different color t-shirt.

Please write "CONCHtribution" and your semester in the memo line. To be counted toward CONCHtribution, mailed donations must be postmarked by December 31st, 2011.
