The natural science component of The Island School is based upon the question: "What lives where and why?" The overall goal of the program is to make students competent research scientists and problem-solvers with a solid base of useful, applicable knowledge of the tropical marine environment. Our unique location and emphasis on fieldwork allows students the opportunity to immediately apply skills and concepts learned in class.
