Each November, admissions officers and school leaders from around the United States come to Eleuthera to get more familiar with The Deep Creek Middle School, The Island School and Cape Eleuthera Institute. On November 21 and 24, we welcomed Roger Cox of Rabun Gap-Nacoochie School in Georgia and Tony Alleyne of St. Andrew's School in Delaware. The visit gives admissions officers a better understanding of life in South Eleuthera and the caliber of programs and students that we have here. For DCMS students, this is an opportunity to interview for placement at a boarding school. Over 30 DCMS alumni have gone on to boarding school, earning over $3.25 million in scholarships.
