Hi Guys!!!! This of course is the best advisor group in the school! Except that we are missing half of us, Pete, "Petey-wetey", the best advisor, and Dave, the "Funk box". So that leaves, Mina, "B flat" and Genny, "G-dog" yay!!!! We are more than half way through the semester and wondering where all the time went!
After our rocking Coco-NUTS kayak trip got back, eaten by bugs, we got to do more labor intensive work, ha, ha. We moved a 20 by 10 foot shed, on PVC piping, about 150 yards. After the moving, and much sweat, we celebrated by having Tony throw a very old and unusable computer off the roof of the shed. That night, the school had yet another party. This time it wasn't for us, but for the School. Happy second Birthday Island School! The School has arrived at the terrible two's. To start it off, we all got dressed up, went out to dinner circle. Pam Maxey gave us a great present - no morning exercise for the second morning in a row! Then we had an awesome banquet with Snapple! There was a local Junkanoo band that came and played for us while we danced. We got to play some of their instruments. In the middle of the dancing, we were called out to the middle of the campus to see Jack, Tony and Pete [yay our advisor!!] set off fireworks. In front of the fireworks, they lit up a big, wooden two. And after that was over, just to burn more of those evil Casuarina trees, there was a bonfire, and the centerpiece for that was a two. The end of the night brought more dancing and laughter. The night ended with a chat with the rest of our Southies! Yes we are both in Girls South, and it is awesome!!! We miss you, but don't worry we are having a blast, keep the letters coming, and remember, no candy.
Dave: He's not here, but we know he would say hi to everyone at home, if he were. Especially Mom, Dad, and the Grandparents. We are sure he's having fun kayaking!
